How to Make Egg McMuffins on a Skillet:

You can easily make this Egg McMuffin on a skillet. If you prefer to cook indoors, we recommend making it on a cast iron skillet. The results are similar to how it would cook on a griddle.

  • Toast the English Muffins in a toaster or you can heat in the skillet.

Tips for Copycat Egg McMuffins:

  • Heat Griddle – Make sure to heat griddle before beginning to cook on the griddle to medium heat. We like to oil the griddle with butter to prevent from sticking.
  • Cooking Egg – To keep the egg in a round shape, we like to use a mason jar lid to cook the egg. You can also cook a fried egg to layer the Egg McMuffin.

Recipe Variations:

  • Change the Meat – You can easily use sausage patty or bacon instead of Canadian bacon in this recipe if you prefer.  We love a Sausage Egg McMuffin for a change.
  • Change the Cheese – We used American Cheese but you can use different cheeses or make this easy recipe with no cheese.
