How to Cook Biscuits on Blackstone

Step 1 – Preheat the Blackstone grill over medium heat about 350 degrees. Watch the grill carefully and make sure that it does not get too hot or the biscuits will burn.

Step 2 – Place a wire rack on one side of the grill and spread the butter out on the other side of the grill with a metal spatula.

Step 3 – Open the biscuits and place each biscuit dough directly on the heated grill. Cook for 1-2 minutes until golden brown. Flip and cook the opposite side for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

Step 4 – Move the biscuits onto the wire rack on the griddle and make sure that they are not touching the surface directly or they may burn.

Expert Tips

  • Use a wire rack – The wire rack keeps the biscuits from burning while they finish cooking.
  • Keep the temperature moderate – Cooking around 325–350°F prevents the outside from browning too quickly.
  • Don’t overcrowd the griddle – Leave space so the biscuits cook evenly.
