I love cooking on the griddle because I can cook several of these Cheese and Egg Sandwiches at once on the griddle. This sandwich makes the perfect family time meal to enjoy on the weekends.

- Mayonnaise – You can use mayonnaise instead of butter in this recipe if you prefer.

How to Make Grilled Cheese Egg Sandwich on Blackstone Griddle
- Step 1 – Heat Griddle – Preheat the Blackstone Grill over medium high heat (approximately 400 degrees F).
- Step 2 – Butter Bread – Butter one side of each of the pieces of bread and set them aside.
Step 3 – Melt Butter – Melt the remaining butter onto the Blackstone grill. Crack the eggs on one side of the Blackstone grill and season them with salt and pepper. Cook for 4-6 minutes until the egg whites are cooked through and the yolk is cooked to your preference.
Step 4 – Place bread on the grill – Place 2 slices of the bread butter side down onto the grill. Top each piece with 1 slice of cheddar cheese.
Step 5 – Top with Eggs – Then top each with 2 fried eggs.
Step 6 – Add Cheese – Add the remaining cheese on top of the fried eggs. Then add salt and pepper.
Step 7 – Top with Bread – Next top with the other pieces of bread, butter side up.
Step 8 – Cook both sides – Cook both of the sandwiches over medium high heat until golden brown (4-5 minutes). Flip the sandwiches and cook the other side for 4-5 more minutes until golden brown.
- Step 9 – Slice and Enjoy – Remove the skillet, cut in half and enjoy!

Frequently Asked Questions
We used Cheddar Cheese in on this egg sandwich but you can use any type of cheese. We just recommend to use a cheese that melts well. These are some of my favorite cheese slices options, Cheddar, Pepper Jack, Colby Jack, American Cheese, and Swiss Cheese
We like to use a thick Texas style white bread. However these bread options such as sourdough bread, garlic bread or English Muffins are delicious. See Best Bread for Grilled Cheese for more ideas.
If your eggs are sticking to the flat top griddle it is because that the griddle has not been preheated or not enough oil.
These sandwiches are best served immediately. If you do have leftovers, place in the refrigerator and serve within about 2 days.
