Blackstone Bacon and Egg Grilled Cheese Sandwich:

If you are looking for an ultimate grilled cheese sandwich, make this bacon, egg, cheese breakfast sandwich. It it loaded with flavor and taste amazing.

We prepared this breakfast sandwich on the griddle but you can easily make it on the stovetop. It can be prepared in a variety of ways and always the perfect way to start the day.

Ingredients: 

  • Slices White Bread thick Texas style
  • Butter, divided
  • Bacon
  • Large Eggs
  • Kosher Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • Slices Cheddar Cheese
  • Slices Pepper Jack Cheese 

How to Make Bacon and Egg Grilled Cheese on a Blackstone Griddle: 

  • Step 1 – Preheat the Blackstone Grill over medium high heat (approximately 400 degrees F).
  • Step 2 – Place bacon slices on the Blackstone Grill on one side on the griddle.  Cook the slices of bacon until the bacon is crispy.  Move the bacon from the grill to a plate lined with a paper towel to soak up the excess grease.
  • Step 3 – Butter one side of each of the slice of bread and set them aside.
  • Step 4 – Melt the remaining butter onto the Blackstone grill.
  • Step 5 – Crack the eggs on one side of the Blackstone grill on the melted butter. Then season them with salt and pepper.  Cook for 4-6 minutes until the egg whites are cooked through and the yolk is cooked to your preference.
  • Step 6 – Place 2 slices of the bread butter side down onto the grill.
  • Step 7 – Top each side of the bread with 1 slice of cheddar cheese.
  • Step 8 – Then top each with 2 fried eggs and 2 slices of cooked bacon.  
  • Step 9 – Top with a slice of the pepper jack cheese. 
  • Step 10 – Next top with the other pieces of bread, butter side up.
  • Step 11 – Cook both of the sandwiches over medium high heat until golden brown (4-5 minutes).  Flip the sandwiches and cook the other side for 4-5 more minutes until golden brown.
  • Step 12 – Remove the skillet, cut in half and enjoy!

How to Make on the Stovetop:

These sandwich could easily on the stovetop. Cook the bacon and the eggs in a cast iron skillet or a large nonstick skillet. Then layer on a bread to make the ultimate grilled cheese sandwich.

Grilled Bacon Egg and Cheese Sandwich Recipe Tips:

  • Prepare Griddle – Make sure to preheat griddle before cooking ingredients. This helps to cook everything easily without it sticking to the griddle.
  • Bacon – Cook bacon on the griddle and then place on a paper towel lined plate to drain any grease.
  • Cook Sandwich – After cooking the eggs begin layering the ingredients on the bread. Then cook the sandwich on the griddle to toast the bread.

  • Butter – You can use mayonnaise instead of butter in this recipe if you prefer. 
  • Cheese – Feel free to use different types of cheeses. Try using colby-jack cheese, pepper jack cheese or mozzarella cheese.
  • Bread – We recommend using a thick cut bread. But you can also use sourdough bread or whole wheat bread.
  • Eggs – You can make the sandwich with scrambled eggs or even an omelet. Load the egg mixture with vegetables in a small bowl.
