Substitutions and Additions:

  • Chocolate Chips – We used regular chocolate chips, but you can easily use mini chocolate chips or dark chocolate chips.
  • Make a Glaze – Add a glaze to the top of pancakes for amazing flavor.
  • Nuts – If you like chopped nuts in your cookies, then you will love them in this pancake recipe.

What Makes Pancake Fluffier?

When mixing the pancake ingredients, make sure not to overmix the batter. You want the batter to be thick which results in a fluffier pancake. When the pancake batter is thin, the pancakes are thinner.
