How to Make Bang Bang Chicken Skewers

Step 1 – Soak wooden skewers in cold water for at least 30 minutes to prevent them from burning on the grill.

Step 2 – Mix the ingredients together for the bang bang sauce. Separate the sauce into 2 bowls evenly (save one for serving).

Step 3 – In a large bowl, toss together the diced chicken, olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, cayenne pepper and salt.

Step 4 – Thread the chicken onto the wooden skewers. Brush both sides of the chicken with one bowl of the bang bang sauce.

Step 5 – Place the chicken skewers directly on the grill and cook for 15-20 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.

Step 6 – Brush the chicken with the reserved bang bang sauce. Serve warm and enjoy! We have even squeezed fresh lime juice for even more flavor.
Recipe Tips
- Chicken – Use an instant-read meat thermometer to make sure that the chicken is cooked through before removing it from the grill.
- Bang Bang Sauce – We brushed the sauce onto the uncooked chicken and after the chicken has cooked. If you marinate the raw chicken in the sauce, throw this out after removing the chicken. You only want to brush the cooked chicken with unused sauce.
- Cooking Chicken – Cooking time will vary depending on the size of chicken. We recommend cutting chicken in about the same size so it cooks evenly.
