Step 7 – Carefully open the foil packets to let the steam escape. Drizzle the balsamic reduction over the top before serving and enjoy!

Recipe Tips

  • Heavy Duty Foil – The quality of the foil you use is critical for successful cooking. Choose heavy-duty aluminum foil to prevent tearing or leakage. Make sure to spray the foil with cooking spray or drizzle extra-virgin olive oil before topping with chicken and veggies.
  • Cooking Time – Keep an eye on your grill temperature. The chicken’s cooking time may vary depending on the heat of your grill. The key is to reach an internal temperature of 165°F for the chicken.
  • Balsamic – The balsamic reduction should be thick but pourable. If it becomes too thick upon cooling, you can reheat gently while stirring until it reaches the desired consistency.
  • Rotate Packs – While the chicken packs are cooking, we recommend rotating so that the entire packs are cooked.
