Zucchini on Blackstone Griddle is one of our favorite ways to make this vegetable. Using out Blackstone Griddle has been so fun to make our favorite recipes.

We have always steamed our zucchini and squash but once we purchased a Blackstone, we have been cooking everything on it. The Blackstone is great for my large family and the food always turns out so good.

How to Cut Zucchini for Grilling

There are different ways to cut zucchini for grilling. Here are some of my favorites:

  • Cut in Rounds – Cut zucchini in rounds about ¼ inch thick with a sharp knife.
  • Diagonal Cut – Cut zucchini in a diagonal cut for a larger cut.
  • Cut into Planks – If you prefer you can cut into larger planks.

Ingredients needed - zucchinis, squash, avocado oil, garlic salt, pepper
  • Zucchinis
  • Yellow Squash
  • Avocado Oil
  • Garlic Salt or Garlic Powder
  • Black Pepper

Different Seasoning to Use

You can easily add in your favorite seasonings to change up this recipe. We love adding in paprika, creole seasoning or even steak seasoning to this easy veggie recipe.

We have even added fresh herbs, balsamic vinegar and red pepper flakes for delicious flavor.

How to Make Zucchini on the Blackstone

  • Step 1 – Prepare Griddle – Preheat your Blackstone griddle over medium high heat (approximately 400 degrees F).
  • Step 2 – Prepare the Vegetables – Slice the zucchini and squash into thin slices (approximately 1/4″ thick).
  • Step 3 – Add Oil to Griddle – Spread the oil onto the griddle with your spatula. You can also use olive oil.
  • Step 4 – Begin cooking vegetables – Put the zucchini and yellow squash onto the griddle on the oil in a single layer. Season them with the garlic salt and pepper.

  • Step 5 – Cook the veggies for a few minutes (2-3 minutes) on the cooking surface. Then flip the veggies and cook for a few more minutes until they are the tenderness that you prefer.
  • Step 6 – Serve warm and enjoy – Season with Salt and Pepper.

How long to Cook Zucchini on Blackstone

Cook zucchini over medium heat for about 3 minutes. Flip the zucchini continue heating until zucchini is desired tenderness.

How to Store Leftovers

Refrigerate the leftovers in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
