Recipe Tips

  • Type of Bacon – Use thin or regular-cut bacon as cooks faster and gets crisp without overcooking the shrimp. Thick bacon cooks longer on the grill.
  • Precook Bacon Slightly – For extra-crispy results bake bacon or microwave bacon for 1–2 minutes before wrapping.
  • Don’t Overcook Shrimp – They’re done when pink and slightly curled.
  • Cooking Methods – Cook these shrimp on the stovetop in a large pan or on a charcoal grill.

Variations Ideas

  • Spicy Version – Add cayenne pepper spices or brush the bacon-wrapped shrimp with hot honey for a kick.
  • Sweet & Smoky – Use maple bacon and brush with brown sugar glaze for amazing flavors.
  • Garlic Butter Shrimp – Drizzle with melted garlic butter before serving for amazing taste.
