Expert Tips

  • Prepare Grill – Halibut fillets are best grilled on a preheated grill. We recommend oiling the grill grates to prevent the fish from sticking.
  • Prepare Halibut – Before seasoning the fresh fish, we recommend drying it with a paper towel. When purchasing your halibut, we like to choose the filet instead of the steak. Halibut steak has the skin on it and contains bones.
  • Seasoning – Combine the seasoning and lemon butter in two separate bowls. Then season both sides of the white fish for the best flavor.
