  • Hot Dogs – Feel free to use different types of hot dogs to make this recipe. Beef franks, turkey dogs, or jumbo dogs.
  • Wrap with Bacon – For even more flavor, wrap the hot dogs with bacon.

Step by Step Instructions

  • Step 1 – Preheat the grill over medium high heat (approximately 350 degrees Fahrenheit). 
  • Step 2 – Place the hot dogs directly on the grill grates on the grill.

  • Step 3 – Cook the hot dogs for approximately 5-7 minutes, gently rotating the hot dogs every 1-2 minutes so that they are evenly cooked. 
  • Step 4 – Remove the hot dogs from the grill. 
  • Step 5 – Let them rest for 5-10 minutes.

Recipe Tips

  • Cooking Jumbo Hot Dogs – If you use jumbo hot dogs, increase the cook time but 1-2 minutes.  
  • Rest Hot Dogs – Before serving the hot dogs, allow the hot dogs to rest.
