Recipe Tips

  • Mayo Consistency – If the mayonnaise is too thick to drizzle over the top of the hot dogs, you can thin it out with milk and place in a squeeze bottle to drizzle over the hot dogs.
  • Pico de Gallo – For the best flavor, we recommend making the Pico de Gallo ahead of time and store in the fridge.
  • Prepare Grill – Before placing the hot dogs on the grill, make sure to preheat and oil the grill grates. This will cook the bacon-wrapped hot dogs with the best texture and prevents them from sticking to the grill gates.
  • Stovetop Cooking – Feel free to also cook the hot dogs in a large skillet over medium heat instead of grilling them.
