How to Make Grilled Turkey Tenderloin
- Step 1 – Preheat a grill over high heat. Rub the grill grates with the olive oil to keep the turkey tenderloin from sticking to the grill.
- Step 2 – Mix the rub ingredients together in a small bowl.
- Step 3 – Pat the turkey tenderloins dry with a paper towel to remove any excess moisture from the turkey.
- Step 4 – Sprinkle the rub over the turkey and rub it so that the turkey is well coated with the rub mixture.
- Step 5 – Place the turkey tenderloins directly on the grill grates.
- Step 6 – Close lid and cook for 8-10 minutes per side until the turkey reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit in thickest part of turkey.
- Step 7 – During the last few minutes of the cooking time, brush ¼ cup of the barbecue sauce on both sides of the turkey tenderloins.
- Step 8 – Remove from the grill and let the tenderloins sit for 20-30 minutes (so that the juices can settle).
