  • Change the Chicken – This recipe would work great with chicken thighs or chicken tenders. You can also use bone-in chicken.
  • Seasoning – Feel free to add or change seasoning to what you have on hand. We have added in chopped onions or used onion powder. Fresh herbs are also a great addition such as rosemary.

How to Make Mayo Marinated Chicken

  • Step 1 – Mix Marinade Ingredients – In a large bowl, combine together all the ingredients except for the chicken.  Then add the chicken and make sure that it is well coated in the marinade mixture.

  • Step 2 – Marinade Chicken – Transfer the chicken into the small bowl and marinate for at least 30 minutes or up to 24 hours.

  • Step 3 – Grill Chicken – Then preheat your grill over medium high heat (approximately 400 degrees F). Place the chicken directly on the grill grate and cook for 6-7 minutes per side until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 160 degrees F. You can also grill on a cast iron skillet

  • Step 4 – Serve and Enjoy – Remove the chicken from the grill, let the chicken rest for 5 minutes. Then the chicken is ready to slice, serve and enjoy!
