- Tortillas – We used flour tortillas for this recipe, but you can use corn tortillas.
- Special Sauce – The burger sauce is similar to McDonald’s big mac sauce but you can use yellow mustard, mayo, and ketchup.
- Toppings – Feel free to add your favorite burger toppings. Pico de gallo, cilantro, tomatoes or salsa are great options.
How to Make Big Mac Smash Tacos
- Step 1 – In a small bowl, mix together all the sauce ingredients. Refrigerate until ready to use.
- Step 2 – Heat the Blackstone grill over medium high heat (approximately 350 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Step 3 – Drizzle the vegetable oil over the grill and spread it around with a spatula in a thin layer.
- Step 4 – Divide the beef into 4 ounce balls. We like to keep in equal portions.
- Step 5 – Place the beef on the hot griddle. Top each ball with a piece of parchment paper. Use a large spatula or press, press each one down to smash the beef as thin as possible.
- Step 6 – Season the beef patties with garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper.
- Step 7 – Cook for 2-3 minutes the beef patties thoroughly. Cook until the bottom of the beef is browned and the beef starts to pull away from the grill.
- Step 8 – Flip each beef patty.
- Step 9 – Then top each beef patty with a tortilla. Press them down again with the spatula or press. Cook for approximately 2 more minutes until browned.
- Step 10 – Flip again and place cheese on top on the hamburger patties. Cook for 1 minute until the bottom of the tortillas are browned and the cheese is melted.
- Step 11 – Then remove them from the grill.
- Step 12 – Topped with the lettuce, pickles and slice onions. Drizzle the sauce on top and they are ready to serve and enjoy!

- Prepare Griddle – Make sure to preheat the grill and oil it to ensure that the burgers cook evenly and do not stick.

Ingredients
- 1 pound Ground Beef
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 Tablespoon Vegetable Oil
- 4 slices Cheddar Cheese
- 4 Flour Tortillas
- 1 cup Shredded Lettuce
- 1/2 onion Finely diced
- 12 Dill Pickle Slices
For the Sauce:
- 1 cup Mayonnaise
- ¼ cup French Dressing
- 2 Tbsp Sweet Pickle Relish
- 1 tsp White Wine Vinegar
- ½ tsp Paprika
- ¼ tsp Garlic Powder
- ¼ tsp Onion Powder
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together all the sauce ingredients. Refrigerate until ready to use.
