How to Make Parmesan Crusted Smashed Potatoes
- Step 1 – Add the potatoes to a large pot and cover them with water. Bring the water to a boil and boil the potatoes for 15-20 minutes until the potatoes are fork tender.
- Step 2 – Drain the potatoes and allow them to cool slightly.
- Step 3 – Heat the Blackstone Grill over high heat.
- Step 4 – Place the butter or olive oil on the griddle and spread it out with a spatula.

Step 5 – Then place the cooked small potatoes on the Blackstone grill and smash them down with a cast iron press or your spatula in the melted butter.

Step 6 – Top the potatoes with half of the oil, kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Cook for a few minutes (3-5 minutes) until the potatoes are golden brown.

Step 7 – Then flip the potatoes, season the other side with the oil and the remaining seasonings. Cook for a few more minutes until golden brown.

Step 8 – Top the potatoes with the Parmesan Cheese. Cover and heat for a few minutes for the cheese to melt. Remove from the grill and serve warm garnished with fresh parsley and fresh lemon juice. Enjoy!
