  • Boneless Skinless Chicken Tenders – Make approximately 7-8 tenders or use Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts or chicken thighs
  • Avocado Oil – Use any high smoke point oil. Olive oil and vegetable oil is another good choice.
  • Lemon Juice – If you are out, check out these Lemon Juice Substitutes.
  • Italian Seasoning – Try this Homemade Italian Seasoning
  • Minced Garlic – If you are using fresh garlic cloves, learn how to mince garlic.
  • Salt – Use sea salt or kosher salt for a delicious variation

  • Seasoning – Spices can easily be changed to what you prefer. Use garlic powder, onion powder or even chili powder for a change of flavor.
  • Marinade – Add in a tablespoon of soy sauce with the lemon juice or marinade the chicken in teriyaki sauce.

How to Make Chicken Tenders on the Blackstone

  • Step 1 – Place all the ingredients except for the chicken in a large mixing bowl. Stir to thoroughly combine the marinade ingredients. Then add in the chicken and make sure it’s coated with the marinade. Allow the chicken to marinade for at least 20 minutes or up to 8 hours.

  • Step 2 – Preheat the Blackstone grill over medium high heat (approximately 400 degrees F).  Spread the avocado oil onto the grill and use a spatula to spread it around.
  • Step 3 – Place the chicken on the grill on top of the oil. Cook the chicken for 4-5 minutes.

  • Step 4 – Flip the chicken and cook the other side for 4-6 minutes until the chicken is cooked through (internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit). 
  • Step 5 – Move the chicken to a plate, let it set for at least 5 minutes. Then serve warm and enjoy!

  • Checking Chicken – Use an instant-read thermometer to make sure that the chicken is cooked to the current temperature.  
  • Prepare Griddle – Preheat the griddle and add oil which helps to prevent the chicken from sticking. It also helps to provide the texture texture.
  • Rest Chicken – After removing chicken from the flat top grill, allow chicken to rest. This helps to keep the chicken juicy and flavorful.
