Ingredients

  • Large (10-inch) Flour Tortillas
  • Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Variations Ideas

  • Change Meat – Feel free to make shrimp, steak burrito or a chicken burrito. The options are endless with this Blackstone Burritos.
  • Tortilla – We recommend using a large flour tortillas to make this recipe. But you can also use one that meets your diet restrictions.

Step by Step Instruction 

  • Step 1 – Preheat the Blackstone Grill to 350-400 degrees Fahrenheit.  Add oil to the grill and spread it around with a spatula.  
  • Step 2 – Add the ground beef to the grill.  Break it apart and begin to cook the meat.
  • Step 3 – As the meat cooks, sprinkle with the taco seasoning on top.

  • Step 4 – Once the beef is brown and crumbled, top with salsa and stir to combine.
  • Step 5 – Continue breaking apart the meat as it is cooked through. Add in the water and stir to combine. Push the meat to a cooler side of the grill. 
  • Step 6 – Clean off the grill and place the tortillas on the grill to warm them through.

  • Step 7 – Remove them to a work surface. Make sure that the beans and rice are heated through.   
  • Step 8 – Spread approximately ¼ cup of the refried beans onto the center of each burrito.  Top with ½ cup of cooked rice, the seasoned beef and approximately ¼ cup of the shredded cheese.

  • Step 9 – Fold in the opposite sides of each of the tortillas and roll each one up tightly to form burritos.  Continue this process until all the burritos are formed. (6 total).

  • Step 10 – Then place them seam side down on the Blackstone Grill and cook each side for 2-3 minutes until browned slightly.  Watch them closely so that they do not burn.

  • Step 11 – Remove from the grill.  Let them cool slightly and then the burritos are ready to serve and enjoy!  

Recipe Tips

  • Cooking Ingredients – Cook the beef on a preheated griddle for best results. You can also cook on a large skillet.
  • Preparing Toppings – If you are adding beans and white rice are cooked before adding to your burrito.
  • Heating Burritos – After wrapping the burrito, place the wrapped burrito seam side down on the griddle. It only takes a few minutes to heat all sides of the burrito.
