Peanut Butter and Jelly is topped on a cooked burger for the ultimate burger recipe. We added bacon to add to the sweet and salty flavor. You can easily use crunchy peanut butter or creamy.
It is a simple recipe that takes your burger recipe to the next level.
Ingredients
- Bacon – Feel free to use any type of bacon. You can also use already cooked bacon.
- Maple Syrup – You can substitute with honey
- Brown Sugar – Make Homemade Brown Sugar with simple ingredients
- Ground Hamburger Beef 85% lean – Feel free to also use ground turkey

How to Grill a Peanut Butter and Jelly Burger
- Step 1 – Heat Oven – Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2 – Season the bacon – Place the bacon on a rack on a lined cookie sheet. Mix the maple syrup and brown sugar together in a small bowl. Brush this mixture on top of the bacon on the rack.
Step 3 – Bake Bacon – Bake for 25-40 minutes until the bacon is cooked through and crispy. Then let the bacon cool for 10 minutes. Feel to Grill the bacon if you prefer.
Step 4 – Form Patties – Form the ground beef into 6 patties approximately ⅓ pound each.
Step 5 – Place patties on the grill – Place on the grill over direct heat. Season the patties with salt and pepper.
Step 6 – Cook Beef Patties – Cook for 5-6 minutes per side until the patties reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees F. Once cooked, top with peanut butters while the patties are still warm.
Step 7 – Toast the Buns – Place the hamburger buns on the grill for approximately 1 minute to toast the buns. Remove the buns.
- Step 8 – Top with bacon and Jelly – When serving, drizzle approximately 1 tablespoon of the grape jelly over each patty. Serve on the bacon with 2 slices of bacon on top.
- Step 9 – Serve – Serve warm and enjoy with your other favorite burger toppings. Add cheese, lettuce and onions for delicious flavor.

How Long to Grill a Burger
When you are ready to grill a burger, preheat the grill and oil the grates. Use any oil with a high smoke point. Vegetable oil, canola oil, coconut oil or avocado oil will all work great in this recipe.
Cooking time will vary but it will take about 6 minutes on each to grill the burgers. We recommend grilling the burgers on medium high heat.

How to Assemble PB & J Burger Recipe
After cooking the beef patties remove from the grill. We immediately top the burger with warmed peanut butter to allow it to melt on the burger.
Toast the buns and then place the burger topped with peanut butter on the bottom bun. Top the burger with jelly and place two slices of bacon on top. Place the top buns on the burger and serve.
