A pretzel bun burger is traditional called a pub burger. A juicy burger is served in between to buns that have the flavor and texture of a pretzel.

In this recipe we used store bought pretzel buns, but you can make pretzel buns from scratch. Pretzel bun recipe is made from a dough ball that is combed with active dry yeast and more.

How to Make Pretzel Bun Burger
- Step 1 – Met Butter – Melt the butter in a small skillet over medium heat.
- Step 2 – Add Onions – Add the onions.
- Step 3 – Cook Onions – Cover and cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cook until the onions are soft.

- Step 9 – Top with Cheese – Place a slice of cheese on the patties for the last minute of the cooking time. Cook to melt the cheese.

How Do You Know When Burger is Cooked
After preparing the burger patties place them on a heated grill. Make sure to oil the grates to prevent the patties from sticking.
Cooking time may vary, depending on how thick your hamburger is. Grill burgers for about 5 to 6 minutes on each side.
Make sure to use an internal meat thermometer to make sure your burger is cooked to your desired temperature.
