Italian Dressing Steak Marinade Recipe:

This Marinade Steak with Italian Dressing Recipe is simple to make and gives your steak so much flavor. The steaks turns out juicy and delicious for a family favorite recipe.

Combining the simple 3 ingredient steak marinade with italian dressing gives your steak delicious flavor. Allow your steak to marinade for at least 2 hours for a quick and easy steak recipe.

Steaks, italian dressing, A1 Dressing, Worcestershire Sauce

Ingredients: 

  • Steaks (cut of meat of your choice – sirloin, ribeye or new york strip) 
  • Italian Dressing 
  • A1 Sauce 
  • Worcestershire Sauce 

How to Make Italian Dressing Steak Marinade: 

  • Step 1 – Combine Marinade Ingredients – Mix together all the marinade ingredients in a small bowl.  Place the steaks in a large zip lock bag.  Pour the marinade on top of the bag. 
  • Step 2 – Marinate Steaks – Get as much air out of the bag as possible and seal.  Let the steaks marinade for at least 2 hours or up to overnight.

  • Step 3 – Prepare Grill – Preheat the grill over medium high heat (approximately 400 degrees F).  Let the steaks sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes prior to grilling.  
  • Step 4 – Place Steaks on Grill – Place steaks on a hot grill and cook for 3 to 5 minutes depending on your Steak Doneness preference.

  • Step 5 – Continue Cooking Steaks – Flip the steak over and grill for an additional 3 to 5 minutes until steak is cooked to your preference.

  • Step 6 – Serve and enjoy – Remove from the grill and allow to rest a minimum of 5 minutes before cutting or serving.

How Long to Marinade Steak:

For the best flavored steaks, marinade steaks for at least 2 hours. But we recommend allowing steaks to marinade overnight or 24 hours. This gives these best flavor and keeps them juicy.

Recipe Tips:

  • Marinating Steaks – Give time for the steaks to marinate. We recommend at least 2 hours for the best flavored steaks.
  • Marinade – Marinade steak in a zip lock bag or a bowl.
  • Grilling Steaks – Allow steaks to get to room temperature before grilling.
  • Cooking Method – Place steaks on an outdoor grill or indoor grill.

How long to Cook a Steak:

Depending how well you want to cook your steaks, it will usually cook for about 3 to 5 minutes on each side. It will need to cook longer if you want your steaks to well done.

What should the Internal Temperature of Steak be?

The best way to test for doneness is by inserting an instant read thermometer into the thickest part of the steak. Do this through the side, not the top of the steak.

  • Rare – 120F, cool to warm red center
  • Medium Rare – 130F, Warm red center
  • Medium – 140F, Hot pink center
  • Well, Medium – 150F, Mostly brown center
  • Well Done – 160F, full brown in color

Do you Rinse Marinade off Steak?

No, never rinse off the marinade. The marinade provides so much great flavor to the steak as it cooks.

What to Serve with Grilled Steak?

How to Store leftover Steak:

Store your leftover steak in an air tight container and place in the refrigerator. The leftover steak will last up to 4 days.
