My family loves when we grill out pork chops. But they love them even more when I wrap bacon slices around them. The bacon gets crispy and it keeps the pork chops juicy.

  • Pork Chops – Feel free to make this recipe with different cuts of pork chops. Try it with Bone-in pork chops, pork loin chops or thick cut pork chops.
  • Bacon – Choose your favorite type of bacon to make this recipe. Choose from thick-cut bacon or maple bacon for a delicious taste.
  • Seasoning – You can even add in different seasoning for added flavor. We suggest garlic powder, chili powder, and smoked paprika. You can even add in fresh herbs such as fresh thyme or rosemary. You can even add brown sugar for added sweetness.
  • BBQ Sauce – Once the pork chops are finished cooking brush BBQ sauce over the top for added flavor.

Step by Step Instructions

  • Step 1 – Heat the grill over medium high heat. If you have a grill thermometer heat to 400ºF. 
  • Step 2 – Season the pork chops with salt and pepper.

  • Step 3 – Wrap each pork chop with two thinly slices of bacon. Secure with toothpicks.

  • Step 4 – Place on the hot grill. Grill for 10 minutes. 
  • Step 5 – Then flip and continue to cook another 10-15 minutes or until they reach internal temperature of 145°F.
  • Step 6 – Remove from the grill and let pork chops rest 5 minutes before serving
