This recipe can easily be made on your stove top in a Wok or cast iron skillet. The vegetables cook tender and mixed with the stir fry sauce makes a healthy, family favorite meal idea.

Recipe Substitutions and Variations
- Change the Meat – We used chicken breast for this recipe, but you can easily use skinless chicken thighs or chicken tenders. You can even make this stir fry with shrimp
- Vegetables – This is a great recipe to use leftover veggies. We have added in diced zucchini, peas, mushrooms and sliced carrots.
- Cooked Rice – Stir fry cooked rice with the mixture on the flat top. Stir fry rice with the vegetables and chicken and serve.
- Use Beef – This stir fry would be delicious with beef or pork.
- Soy Sauce Substitution – You can substitute soy sauce for coconut aminos.
How to Make Chicken Stir Fry on Blackstone Griddle
Step 1 – In a small bowl, whisk together the stir fry sauce ingredients. Set aside.
Step 2 – Preheat the Blackstone grill over medium high heat. Place the broccoli and shredded carrots onto the flat top grill. Sauté for 2-3 minutes. If you have a press, use the press to press down the broccoli to cook it quicker.
Step 3 – Add the chicken to the grill next to the broccoli. Season it with salt and pepper. Sauté for 3-5 minutes (flipping every minute) until the chicken is browned and cooked through. Add the peppers to the grill next to the chicken and sauté
Step 4 – Mix together the chicken and vegetables and add in the garlic and ground ginger. Cook for 1 minute until the garlic is aromatic.
Step 5 – Then pour the stir fry sauce on top. Toss all the ingredients together to coat the chicken and vegetables with the sauce. Cook for 1-2 minutes to thicken the sauce.
Step 6 – Remove from the grill. Top with the sesame seed, serve over rice and enjoy!
Recipe Tips
- Cooking Chicken – We used an instant read meat thermometer to make sure that the chicken is cooked to a safe temperature (165 degrees F).
- Chicken and Vegetables – We recommend cutting the chicken and vegetables about the same size. This make sure they cook evenly and tender.
- Use Different Oil – You can easily use avocado oil, canola oil or coconut oil instead of the vegetable oil in this recipe.
- Heat Blackstone – Make sure Blackstone is preheated before adding vegetables to griddle.
How to Cook on the Stove Top
We recommend using a cast iron skillet or a Wok as it is similar to the griddle but any skillet will work.
- Heat and oil skillet then add in vegetables.
- Cook vegetables tender.
- Remove vegetables from skillet then add in diced chicken to cook.
- Mix everything together including the vegetables and diced chicken.
- Pour the sauce over the chicken and vegetable mixture and heat.
- Top with sesame seeds, serve and enjoy.

Blackstone Chicken Stir Fry
Ingredients
For the Chicken and Vegetables:
- 3 boneless chicken breasts diced into 1 inch pieces
- ½ tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 2 tbsp Avocado Oil
- 2 cups broccoli florets diced into bite size pieces
- 1 Yellow Bell Pepper cut into 1 inch pieces
- 1 red bell pepper cut into 1 inch pieces
- 1/2 cup carrots shredded
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds
For the Stir Fry Sauce:
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together the stir fry sauce ingredients. Set aside.
- Preheat the Blackstone grill over medium high heat (approximately 400 degrees F). Spread the avocado oil out onto the grill.
- Place the broccoli and shredded carrots onto the grill. Sauté for 2-3 minutes. If you have a press, use the press to press down the broccoli to cook it quicker.
- Add the chicken to the grill next to the broccoli. Season it with salt and pepper. Sauté for 3-5 minutes (flipping every minute) until the chicken is browned and cooked through.
