Easy Blackstone Nachos:

Blackstone griddle nachos are so fun to make. Ground beef is cooked on the griddle with salsa and seasoning and then topped on tortilla chips. The baking sheet is then placed back on the griddle to melt the cheese and make the chips extra crispy.

If you are planning a gathering for the big game or just hanging out by the pool, make these Blackstone nachos. I usually have to make a couple pan full of these delicious nachos because my family loves them.

Add your favorite topping to these nachos for a delicious side or afternoon snack. Try these Grilled Stuffed Burritos for another easy recipe.

What kind of Cheese do you use for Nachos?

We like using Colby Monterrey Jack Cheese when making nachos. But you can use any type of cheese that you prefer.

We do recommend grating your own cheese from hunk cheese for best results. Pre-shredded cheese has added ingredients and it may not melt as well as shredded cheese.

Ingredients needed - avocado oil, ground beef, taco seasoning, salsa, tortilla chips, cheese, tomato, sour cream, lettuce

Ingredients:

  • Avocado Oil
  • Ground Beef
  • Taco Seasonings
  • Salsa
  • Tortilla Chips
  • Water
  • Shredded Colby Jack Cheese
  • Tomato (diced)
  • Sour Cream
  • Shredded Lettuce

How to Make Nachos on Blackstone Griddle:

  • Step 1 – Preheat the Blackstone grill over medium high heat.
  • Step 2 – Spread the avocado oil out onto the grill.
  • Step 3 – Once the griddle is hot, add the ground beef to the grill.  Cook and break up the ground beef until it’s no longer pink and broken into small pieces.  Make sure to separate as much grease from the cooked ground beef while you’re cooking it. Push the excess grease off the grill into the grease trap.

Tips for Blackstone Nachos:

  • Griddle – Heat the griddle and oil it to cook the ground beef on.
  • Ground Beef – Add the ground beef to the hot griddle. Cook the beef while breaking it into small pieces. We recommend pushing the grease to the side to keep the fully cooked beef from being so greasy.
  • Seasoning – We add salsa to the ground beef and taco seasoning. This adds flavor to the taco meat. You can easily use any type of seasoning that you prefer.
  • Melting Cheese – After placing the ground beef and cheese on the tortilla chips, add it to the griddle. Cover the baking sheet and heat on the griddle for about 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
  • Change the Meat – Feel free to change to change the meat to cooked shredded chicken or ground turkey. These nachos would be great with leftover meat.

How to Store Nachos:

These Blackstone Nachos are best served immediately. But if you have leftovers, you can store in the fridge for up to 2 days. We recommend removing the topping before storing.

How to Reheat Nachos:

Place the leftover nachos on a sheet pan and place in a preheated oven at 425 degrees. Leave in the oven for a few minutes and this will allow the chips to get crispy again.
