Expert Tips
- Prepare Ingredients – When we make calzone, everyone gets to choose their favorite toppings. Prepare by placing the toppings in individual bowls and that way you can easily form a assembly line.
- Prepare Dough – Prepare the dough by placing on a floured work surface.
- Adding Ingredients – When adding in the ingredients make sure to not add to much. To much sauce can make the calzone soggy. You want to make sure you close the sides tight to prevent the calzone filling from coming out.
- Crimp the Edges – Make sure to seal the edges tightly.
- Flip the Calzone – Flip the calzone every 30 seconds to make sure that the calzone doesn’t burn. Cook the homemade calzone for about 10 minutes or until golden brown.
