Recipe Tips:

  • Bacon – Cook bacon on the Blackstone Griddle. You can also heat in the microwave or cook in a skillet.
  • Griddle – Make sure griddle is heated to medium high heat and oiled. This will ensure that the turkey melt will have the best texture.
  • Cook Sandwich – Cook sandwich on both sides for the best flavor and texture. This will ensure that your cheese is melted and your bread is toasted.

Recipe Substitutions and Variations:

  • Turkey – We used deli turkey meat in this recipe. But this sandwich would be delicious with leftover turkey meat.
  • Bacon – Feel free to use different types of bacon. We used regular cut but you can also use thick cut or already cooked bacon.
  • Cheese – We used provolone cheese but you can also use Monterrey Jack Cheese, Pepper Jack or Mozzarella Cheese.
  • Bread – We like to make a turkey melt with Sourdough Bread, but any bread will work with this recipe. You can even use a whole grain sliced bread.
