- Kind of Steak – You can easily make this recipe with round steak or skirt steak for this recipe as well.
- Teriyaki Sauce – We prefer to make Homemade Sauce, but you can use store bought as well.
Step by Step Instructions
- Step 1 – In a small bowl, whisk together the sauce ingredients and set aside.
- Step 2 – Preheat the Blackstone grill over Medium high heat (approximately 450 degrees Fahrenheit) and drizzle the tbsp of oil onto the grill. Spread it around with a spatula.
- Step 3 – Add the steak to the Blackstone on top of the oil. Season it with salt and pepper.
- Step 4 – Cook the steak for 2 minutes without flipping it so that they get browned.
- Step 5 – Then gently toss the steak and cook it for 2-3 more minutes until the steak is cooked through and browned.
- Step 6 – Pour the sauce mixture on top of the steak on the Blackstone. Toss to coat the steak with the sauce mixture. Stirring for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce has thickened.
- Step 7 – Serve topped with the sesame seeds and green onions. Enjoy!

- Steak – Cut the steak in about the same size pieces so that it cooks evenly.
- Cooking time – Cooking time will vary depending on the size of the steak and your griddle. To check to see if your steak is done, use a meat thermometer.
- Adding Sauce – When the steak is about done, add the sauce to the steak. Allow it to cook with the steak to create a delicious sauce.

- 2 Tablespoons Avocado Oil
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Pepper
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Sliced green onions for garnish
For the Teriyaki Sauce:
- ¼ cup Brown Sugar
- ½ cup Low Sodium Soy Sauce
- ¼ cup Rice Vinegar
- ¼ cup Honey
- 2 teaspoons Minced Garlic
- ½ teaspoon Ground Ginger
- 1 Tablespoon Cornstarch
