Blackstone Teriyaki Burger Recipe:

Burgers on the Blackstone are so good. We love to get creative when making burgers to change things up. This Teriyaki Burger is one of our favorites. The teriyaki sauce combined with the flavors of the seasoned ground beef really gives it amazing flavor.

Grilling the slice pineapples next to the burgers add so much flavor to the burger. You can even make your own teriyaki sauce with easy ingredients. Homemade teriyaki sauce is easy to make with soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, and garlic. We used premade teriyaki sauce to make it easy.

Ingredients needed - ground beef, oil, garlic salt, pepper, teriyaki sauce, slice pineapple, red onion, hamburger buns

Ingredients:

  • Ground Beef
  • Oil
  • Garlic Salt
  • Pepper
  • Teriyaki Sauce
  • Sliced Pineapple – Drain the Pineapple Juice
  • Red Onion, sliced
  • Hamburger Buns

How to Cook Teriyaki Burgers on Blackstone:

  • Preheat the Blackstone Grill over medium high heat about 400 degrees F.
  • Add the oil to the grill and spread it out with a spatula.
  • Divide the ground beef into 6 even balls (approximately ⅓ lb each).
  • Place the ground beef on the Blackstone grill on the oil.
  • Press firmly on the ground beef balls into the Blackstone Grill.  Do not smash it all the way down but just press slightly to form a burger patty.

  • Season the beef with the garlic salt and pepper. You can mix the seasoning in a small bowl then mix with ground beef.
  • Place the pineapple slices next to the patties on the Blackstone Grill.
  • Cook the patties for 3-5 minutes until the sides of the patties begin to change colors.

  • Flip the burgers (do not smash them down) and flip the pineapple slices. Cook until the burgers are cooked through (3-4 more minutes) and the pineapple is browned.
  • Add a spoonful of the teriyaki sauce on top of each burger patty. If you need more, you can add about ¼ cup to the burger.
  • Remove the beef and add them to one of the hamburger buns.
  • Then top each one with a grilled pineapple ring, 2 slices of red onions and more teriyaki sauce if desired.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

How long to Cook Teriyaki Burger on Blackstone:

The reason I love the Blackstone is because how quickly food cooks on it. These burgers take about 5 minutes on each side. Make sure your grill is preheated to medium high heat before adding the burgers.
