- Change Meat – If you are not wanting to use shrimp, you can easily make this recipe with pork, chicken, or steak.
- Oil Griddle – We used avocado oil, but you can use olive oil, butter or sesame oil to cook the shrimp in.
- Garlic – We used minced garlic but you can use fresh ginger. The teriyaki mixture will still be delicious. Taste before adding to the shrimp to make sure the seasoning is the right combination.

How to Make Teriyaki Shrimp on the Blackstone Griddle
- Step 1 – Heat Grill – Preheat the Blackstone grill over medium high heat (approximately 400 degrees F).
- Step 2 – Combine Teriyaki Sauce – Whisk together the sauce ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.
- Step 3 – Add Oil to Griddle – Spread the avocado oil onto the grill and use a spatula to spread it around.
- Step 4 – Add Shrimp – Place the shrimp on the grill. Season it with salt and pepper.
- Step 5 – Cook Shrimp – Sauté the shrimp for 2-3 minutes until it starts to turn pink.
- Step 6 – Add Sauce – Pour the sauce on top of the shrimp. Then toss to fully coat the shrimp in the soy sauce mixture.
- Step 7 – Cook Shrimp – Cook the shrimp for 1-2 more minutes until cooked through and the sauce starts to thicken.
- Step 8 – Serve and Enjoy – Remove from the grill, top with sesame seeds and green onions. Enjoy!

Ingredients
For the Shrimp:
- 1 Tablespoon Avocado Oil
- 1 Pound Raw Large Shrimp peeled and deveined
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
For the Teriyaki Sauce:
- ¼ cup Brown Sugar
- ½ cup Low Sodium Soy Sauce
- ¼ cup Rice Vinegar
- ¼ cup Honey
- 2 teaspoons Minced Garlic
- ½ teaspoon Ground Ginger
- 1 Tablespoon Cornstarch
For the Topping:
- 2 Tablespoons Sesame Seeds
- 2 Stalks Green Onions diced
Instructions
- Preheat the Blackstone grill over medium high heat (approximately 400 degrees F).
