Ingredients

Ingredients needed for Fried Bologna Sandwich which includes a Butter, white bread, slices bologna, american cheese, and yellow mustard.
  • Butter – We recommend using salted butter to toast the bread for the best flavor and golden crispy texture. You can also use mayonnaise instead of butter for extra richness.
  • White Bread – Classic white bread works great for this sandwich, but Texas toast, sourdough, or rye bread are also delicious options. Choose a sturdy bread that holds up well to the warm bologna and melted cheese.
  • Slices Bologna – Thick-cut beef bologna gives the best flavor and crispy edges on the Blackstone. Thin slices cook faster but may not have the same texture. Don’t forget to cut small slits around the edges to prevent curling while cooking.
  • American Cheese – American cheese melts perfectly and gives this sandwich its classic diner-style flavor. Cheddar, Swiss, or pepper jack cheese also work well if you want to change it up.
  • Yellow Mustard – Yellow mustard adds classic tangy flavor, but you can easily swap it for mayo, spicy mustard, or your favorite sandwich spread.
